no luck with 2.21.11, same problem booting from CF ("Cannot read control 
file"). (for interested parties: sleeve is compaq/hp dual pcmcia sleeve, 
CF = 512 Mb princeton CF, in the CF-to-PCMCIA adapter from compaq/hp)

No luck with minicom & /dev/ttyUSB0 either (probably me f**king up)
Just acquired a new win98 CD, will try it with hyperterminal tonight.
