Jffs or MTD problem: msg#00002handhelds.ipaq.boot-loader
Hello all, I am facing a strange problem and i am not sure if it is a jffs or MTD problem. I have 32Mb of K3 flash on my board, and i have got linux up and running on it. The first time i delete a file(directory) from my root file system and reboot, i get a couple of messages which say. >jffs2_scan_eraseblock(): Magic bitmask 0x1985 not found at 0x015e0000: 0x2003 instead I calculated the size of the area (Number of eraseblock's it's giving problem * erase block size) for which this problem is coming, and it is roughly the same as the file i deleted the first time. I am trying creating random files and deleting them, but the message keeps appearing for the same location. I am not sure if these messages can be ignored or i cannot use my flash in these erase bocks. Anybody encountered the same problem ? -- -Mayank -------------------------------------------------- Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime. -- Jimmy Cannon |
