Calendar RSS/Atom feed: msg#00183

Subject: Calendar RSS/Atom feed
Is there a Google Calendar RSS 1.0/2.0 or Atom feed?

I know there is an XML and an iCal feed, however, I don't believe the
XML feed fits the RSS or Atom standard.

I would like to use my Google calendar in my blogger.com blog.
Ideally, I'd like to show the next three or so events in the blog
sidebar. I'm using the beta version of blogger.com. In the
blogger.com layout editor, there is an option to add a feed to the
sidebar. However, blogger.com doesn't recognize the Google calendar
XML feed (I assume this is because it is not standard RSS or Atom).

I've found a few webites which discuss reading the XML feed and
outputting it with javascript.

However, both of these feeds rely on server-side PHP to pull the feed
and input it into the javascript code (to prevent cross-site scripting
errors). Blogger.com does not provide PHP support, so neither of these
solutions will work.

I've also looked at an iCal to RDF converter here:

http://torrez.us/ics2rdf/

However, the blogger.com feed sidebar option does not recognize the RDF
output from this site also.

Has anyone else come up with a solution? Or does the Google Calendar
API provide an RSS/Atom feed that I'm missing?

Josh
