[mingw - MSYS] RE: GCC in mounted directories: msg#00074gnu.mingw.msys

Like the OP, I'm using MinGW gcc-3.2.3 (mingw-special-20030504-1), but with msys-1.0.9, and I cannot reproduce the problem. I've even tried emulating the OP's share and fstab setups, indentically as indicated by `msysinfo all', (structurally, but with directory and share name changes adapted to my own environment); I still cannot reproduce the problem.
