Yes of course.  I have /etc/profile setup so that when ``uname -s'' indicates
an MSYS environment instead of a MINGW32 environment that it puts the msys 
specific
binary paths first in PATH.  Otherwise the MinGW binary paths are first in PATH.

I can enter into an MSYS environment by simply typing ``MSYSTEM=MSYS start
/msys''.
