how to control path conversion using MSYS?: msg#00042gnu.mingw.msys
Dear colleagues, I wonder how I can control path conversion when using MSYS. Here's my particular problem: I'm compiling a couple of C# files using .NET (2.x). This is how "csc" gets called within my shell script: csc [..] u:/src/antlr/ANTLRException.cs This result fails because "csc" does not understand the path "u:/src/antlr/ANTLRException.cs". In fact, "csc" should be called like csc [..] u:\\src\\antlr\\ANTLRException.cs What I'm looking for is something in MSYS that allows me to control such a translation. I have seen a couple of postings to this list regarding the need for "cygpath" (I also posted a message yesterday via GMANE but I can't find it in this list). The scripts I wrote to compile C# with .NET, Mono and dotGNU are working fine on CYGWIN controling cases with the help of cygpath. Cheers, Wolfgang. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Do you grep through log files for problems? Stop!
