One of your changes (either 2006-02-13 or 2006-02-14) resulted in
make hanging on my makefiles. Here is the test case:
http://kolpackov.net/tmp/test.tar.bz2
On a GNU/Linux box unpack it in /tmp (important), then
/tmp$ cd test/hello
/tmp/test/hello$ /path/to/make -f ../build/examples/cxx/hello/hello/makefile
After that make hangs. Let me know if you need any other information.
