is this normal? (with shots)

I'm not using fixed positions, I'm using an alignment with much
padding :)
in GNU I'm happy, in Lose it doesn't fit the image :( {which is very
important cause this is an HCI project}

what can I do? (except from trying out the padding in order for windows
to work {trivial}
