select files and directories with FileChooserDialog: msg#00112gnome.gtk+.python
Hi, I can use FileChooserDialog to select files and directories. The problem is that, when I configure it to let the user select files, the user can't select directories. And the oposite. Is there a way to let the user select files or directories, but using the same FileChooserDialog dialog? With what I have now, I need two menu/toolbuttons that calls FileChooserDialog configured differently. My code doesn't care if the result is a file or a directory. So I want something that lets me have only one menu. I have looked at FileSelection dialog and it is close to what I want. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow me to set file filters and looks a bit obsolete compared with FileChooserDialog. TIA, Ionutz _______________________________________________ pygtk mailing list pygtk@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.daa.com.au/mailman/listinfo/pygtk Read the PyGTK FAQ: http://www.async.com.br/faq/pygtk/ |
