I'm wondering if there is > anyway to use gtk in display-less mode. > > Thanks, > John Hunter hi john, there are probably a bunch of ways you could do this. the easiest I can think of is to check the value of the DISPLAY environment variable, which is *always* set if the user has a 'head' on their workstation that supports the x-windows protocol(s). hmm.. perhaps this is a change that will need to be made in the pygtk package itself. it's just an idea..
