Embedding a widget in a CellRenderer

Hi all, I'm trying to embed a Combo in a CellRenderer to let my users
choose from a limited set of strings.
I've subclassed gtk.GenericCellRenderer but now I'm stuck, I'm not able
to find examples of anything similar and I'm quite confused about what
to do, I'm not able to display the Combo and I can't imagine how to
populate it ... :)
If someone has already suceeded in a similar task I'd like to see an
example, a snippet, a suggestion, a pointer ... something :p
