Finding the default application associated with a mime type: msg#00134gnome.gtk+.python
I'm trying to find the default application associated with a mime type. In pygtk 0.6, I was able to use gnome.mime.get_value(). With pygtk2, I haven't been able to find an equivalent. The gnome_vfs_get_default_application function provides the information I need, but gnome-python doesn't seem to provide access to it. Currently, I'm using swig to wrap this function, but this is less than an ideal situation. Is there an easy way to get this information? -- Don Allingham <dallingham@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> GRAMPS OpenSource Genealogy _______________________________________________ pygtk mailing list pygtk@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.daa.com.au/mailman/listinfo/pygtk Read the PyGTK FAQ: http://www.async.com.br/faq/pygtk/ |
