What isn't obvious from Gtk::Reference[1] is that Gtk::Text inherits from Gtk::Editable, so you should be able to use ->get_chars(0, ->get_length) and ->changed and such. [1] bah, *nothing* is obvious from Gtk::Reference - but maybe I'm jaded by the XML:: doc tree :-) If perldoc contributions are desired, perhaps I'll cook something up... |
