gdome-config is deprecated, use pkg-config instead, like this:
pkg-config gdome2 --cflags
-I/usr/include/libgdome -I/usr/include/glib-2.0
-I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/libxml2
pkg-config gdome2 --libs
-lgdome -lglib-2.0 -lxml2 -lpthread -lz -lm
