In addition, I've fixed several annoying things that prevented gdome2
from having a successful make distcheck. In particular:
- all the test files saving a result now do it in /tmp (unfortunately
this is hardcoded in test/Makefile.am, if anyone has better idea please
make it public). The point is that recent autotools make the source
directory read-only during the distcheck, to be sure the compilation
process doesn't touch anything. By saving the results into the same
place as the sources files, the test programs clearly violated this
policy.
- the *.html files generated by gtk-doc are now removed when making
uninstall (added a uninstall-local target)
- the gdomeConf.sh file di removed after a make distclean
Furthermore, since nobody objected about the patch for the
gdome_xml_n_mkref method (see my email on May the 6th), I've committed
that as well.
This last patch is rather critical for us, so even if the actual
improvement of the code is little I'd like to see this version of the
source code out as a 0.8.2 release (also given the (ever-)approaching
deadline for Debian packages)
