I've just submitted my first patch: [ 1093125 ] Maintain formatting between messages within a conversation Which I'm running sucessfully with Yahoo and MSN protocol conversations on my local CVS build. By default it's turned off, so theoretically you won't even notice it's installed unless you tick the preferences checkbox to turn it on. Let me know if I'm doing anything stupid - I've never done GTK programming before, so it's a bit cargo culted. It adds a new string to the user interface as well, so will need translations.
