muti-user use

Has anything been done about the lack of multi-user usability of f-spot?
I filed a bug a long time ago and I have seen numerous people complain
subsequently, but AFACT, f-spot is still very much single-user use only
still.  I'm not complaining, since I can't, since I have no time to help
towards this end, just looking for a status update.
