libexif.so.12

I've just checked out cvs to test jobscheduler but I get the following
error (even without the patch):

I have libexif installed, and f-spot 0.2.2 is working well on my
system (Gentoo).

Did I do something wrong?
config.log doesn't report any error about libexif.
