[OSM-dev] Another new version of tiles@home: msg#00059gis.openstreetmap.devel
A new version of tiles@home is available, which uploads ZIP files containing many tiles, rather than uploading each tile individually. The tilesGen script just leaves tiles in your working directory now, and you run the "upload" script to upload them. (It only does a few megabytes at once, so you may need to run it several times) You can render as many tiles as you like before uploading - so it's reasonably flexible. e.g. set the upload to run every 20 minutes. Regards OJW p.s. could I take a wiki poll on what version of the program people are running: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Tiles%40home/Credits
