Ah.  Perhaps the applet should copy the old login dialog code for such
case?  And why does it need to log in to get the streets.  It should
only have to log in when I want to do the editing.

I'll focus on getting new disks for the development server.  (Yes,
both disk in the RAID 1 set broke when I try to use the machine.  Must
have died in transport. :( ))
