Update On Super Select Tool: msg#00513gis.jump.devel
I've got a lot of my super select tool working...and I've got a lot that still isn't working too. :] I'm still plodding forward with my work on the tool. (This is the last time I want to get sidetracked with some functionality for OpenJUMP that should be "quick and easy" to implement.) The delay in the release of the tool really doesn't have to do with the complexity of the task as much as it does with my lack of knowledge. The good news is I'm learning all sorts of things about OpenJUMP's source code, and I am going to force myself to document this for others. This documentation will be on the wiki or in the Javadoc comments and should make it easier for the next person that wants to wander into the selection or toolbox code. :] I may be done squishing bugs in the Super Select Tool in the next two (2) weeks. I will make an initial release then. A subsequent release will add internationalization and undo support. (I hope.)
