>Organization:
>Environment:
Fedora Core 3
>Description:
When a process is launched from gdb, gdb is able to detect dynamic .so loads
and automatically read in symbols for them.
However, when gdb attaches to a running process, it is not apparently able to
detect dynamic .so loads, so setting breakpoints (both pending and normal)
doesn't work.
(A hacky, partial workaround is to quit gdb and then run it again.)
