So, nun
bin ich aber erstmal auf Reaktionen gespannt.

Dear Stefan,
thank you for your question to the RIPE NCC.
There are 3 options if you need public IP addresses:
1. Become a Local Internet Registry (LIR)
- this means you become a member of the RIPE NCC and are entitled to a
/21 (2048 IPs) allocation minimum for your infrastructure and
customers. It involves paying yearly fees to the RIPE NCC. Please see
below:
http://www.ripe.net/membership/new-members/index.html
2. Request Provider Aggregateable (PA) addresses from an existing LIR
- you can request IPs from an already existing LIR. PA space belongs
to the LIR so you cannot take it with you if you change providers.
3. Request Provider Independent (PI) addresses through an existing LIR
- PI address space is independent of the LIR, so you can take it with
you if you change providers. You need to go through an already
existing LIR to get this type of IP space.
A list of LIRs is available here by country:
http://www.ripe.net/membership/indices/
Kind regards,
Scott Donald
