describes the interface,
/P - executes the AUTOEXEC.BAT script before any other command
/K - specify a command to execute
... If these options [[/C or /K]] are used in conjunction with the /P
option, the AUTOEXEC.BAT script is executed prior executing the
specified command.
However, you can specify:
/P=another.bat - to replace AUTOEXEC.BAT by another batch file, but you
cannot pass arguments this way.
However, I slightly remember that some DOS (DR??) executes _either_ /P
(== AUTOEXEC.BAT) _or_ the /C/K command, hence, if you have use both, /C
or /K overrides /P.
I, personally, think that to execute both is more clean.
Especially because: "/D": disables to execute AUTOEXEC.BAT
ergo:
/D/P/K cmd arg
will execute FreeCOM, force it as primary instance, but does not execute
AUTOEXEC.BAT, but executes "cmd arg" and, finally, enters interactive
command line prompt.
In versions upto v0.83 Beta 46 the combination "/P/C" will cause FreeCOM
to hang in an infinite loop (telling the user that FreeCOM has been
instructed to terminate, but isn't allowed to do so as of the /P
switch). Since Beta 48, FreeCOM treats "/P/C" like "/P/K".
Documentations has been updated to explicitly express this behaviour.
