That is a terrible standard breaker. They should use something like the
following instead:
<!-- arachne-msg="This text will be displayed at the status line" -->
The other browsers use Javascript to access the status line via writing to the
variable
window.status . If Arachne does not support Javascript, he might want to have
support for
this special case:
<body onLoad="window.status='This text will ...';return true">
