D-BUS SELinux support: msg#00037freedesktop.dbus
I've implemented some basic SELinux access controls into the D-BUS daemon to provide finer grained security on SELinux based systems. Currently access controls secure service acquisition and message sending on the bus using a user space AVC. Initial patch is attached, and also posted at http://www.flux.utah.edu/~sds/dbus/. The README file gives a basic overview of what the security enhancements are doing. Right now the code is still in a development stage. There is a lot of unnecessary overhead of context to sid switching, which I am reworking currently. I should have a new patch out early next week, but for now I'd just like to get this out to hear any comments or suggestions anyone might have. -- Matthew Rickard mjricka-FVV4AS6k8l2W8mdqIt43Ew@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
