Use the version I've just posted in the cvs tree. It fixes bugs and cleans up confusions (I hope). I was wrong -- the otb format does have a 'glyf' table. So if you want to avoid a glyf table entirely you would have to use the dfont output. However if you want to have a 'glyf' table with dummy outlines then you might what to try what is now called "(faked) MS bitmap only sfnt (ttf)" > I am also excited to learn that the gray-scale bitmap > format is supported, I am eager to try it out given that my > team have already completed the most time consuming part: > composing fine-tuned Chinese character bitmap glyphs at > multi-pointsize. Ah... you have a team. Ok, that makes it seem more feasible! FontForge has a very basic grey-scale editor. It might be adequate. Or you might prefer to use something like gimp and them import the bitmaps (See File->Import, Format: Image Template) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
