Re: Trouble installing fontforge: msg#00016fonts.fontforge.user
http://fontforge.sourceforge.net/ms-install.html For above instruction which may need to add a little more lib package from cygwin. I remember, png lib and xml lib. But since you started to run ff, it's going to prompt. So, just reinstall those necessary packages as ff prompted. --Victor p.s.. sorry, i made a little mess. :-) --- George Williams <gww@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > On Fri, 2006-08-11 at 03:13, Rob Hyndman wrote: > If you are wonder in what all this gibberish is: > > If you ever happen to want to link against > installed libraries > > in a given directory, LIBDIR, you must either use > libtool, and > > specify the full pathname of the library, or use > the `-LLIBDIR' > > flag during linking and do at least one of the > following: > > - add LIBDIR to the `PATH' environment > variable > > during execution > > - add LIBDIR to the `LD_RUN_PATH' environment > variable > > during linking > > - use the `-LLIBDIR' linker flag > > > > See any operating system documentation about > shared libraries for > > more information, such as the ld(1) and ld.so(8) > manual pages. > > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > Just ignore it.
