Subject: Re: eBay bans e-gold

In Australia eBay sellers universally reject PayPal in favour of
payment via Internet Banking, which is generally free of any fees.
eBay are spamming PayPal into people's eBay environment, and people
selling internationally find that they have to accept PayPal, but
stipulate that PayPal is NOT acceptible for Australian buyers.

I guess people will have to resort to statements such as "DGCs
accepted" or "e-gold, Pecunix and GoldMoney accepted" in the body of
the listing, which may not be interpreted as "requesting payment
through online payment methods not specifically permitted in this
policy."

If buyers are free to buy through permitted methods other than PayPal,
then it does not seem to be against policy for other methods to be
simply AVAILABLE, if not requested by the seller.
