I find the article in question to be much ado about nothing. Rather than
the theme of money as a transporter of pandemic diseases as some have
concluded, [emphasis]"I find the thrust of the article as describing the
movement of money, as documented by websites such as where'sgeorge?, as
a model for the movement of people, and hence for the pandemic movement
of diseases."[/emphasis]

In my not-so-scientific opinion, then, this correlation is hardly a
watershed revelation, given the proliferation of graphics already
available displaying the minute to minute flighpaths of commercial
airlines throughout the world. Common sense would seem to dictate the
rapid global spread of any serious contagion as a virtual certainty,
given the information in the commercial airline flightpath graphics
already available.
