Setting up sfssd on Linux: msg#00057file-systems.sfs.general
Hi, I'm trying to get sfs serving working on my laptop, and I followed the 'Quick Server Setup' instructions, but it's not working. Details: version 0.7.2, Linux 2.4.20, compiled with gcc 3.2 on Gentoo 1.4. The exported nfs filesystems are mountable. The client works; I can access the new york example in the documentation. --- sfsrwd_config --- Keyfile /etc/sfs/sfs_host_key Export /var/sfs/root / R Export /usr /usr R --- end --- authenticating a user works, but trying to access the exported filesystems fails. The annoying thing is that all the debug info claims that everything is working: On 192.168.0.10: # sfscd -d sfscd: version 0.7.2, pid 18159 sfsrwcd: version 0.7.2, pid 18160 sfscd: not dropping privileges for debugging nfsmounter: version 0.7.2, pid 18161 nfsmounter: mounted /sfs nfsmounter: mounted /sfs/.mnt/wait Mar 24 02:28:33 [] sfssd: accepted connection from 192.168.0.8 On 192.168.0.8: overseen root # cd /sfs/@192.168.0.10,dr9xggffuciyvr8m9qbt8xxizveupdk7 -bash: cd: /sfs/@192.168.0.10,dr9xggffuciyvr8m9qbt8xxizveupdk7: No such file or directory overseen root # ls -al /sfs total 8 dr-xr-xr-x 4 root sfs 512 Jan 1 1970 . drwxr-xr-x 19 root root 4096 Mar 19 20:01 .. -r--r--r-- 1 root sfs 0 Mar 24 19:02 .devdb dr-xr-xr-x 3 root sfs 512 Mar 24 19:02 .linuxmnt dr-xr-xr-x 6 root sfs 512 Mar 24 18:58 .mnt -r-------- 1 root sfs 83 Mar 24 19:02 .nfsdb -r--r--r-- 1 root sfs 6 Mar 24 18:58 .pid -r--r--r-- 1 root sfs 6 Mar 24 18:58 .version lr--r--r-- 1 root sfs 512 Mar 24 19:02 @192.168.0.10,dr9xggffuciyvr8m9qbt8xxizveupdk7 -> /sfs/.mnt/0/00000000000000000000000000000039 lr--r--r-- 2 root sfs 71 Mar 24 19:05 @new-york.lcs.mit.edu,u83s4uk49nt8rmp4uwmt2exvz6d3cavh -> /sfs/.linuxmnt/@new-york.lcs.mit.edu,u83s4uk49nt8rmp4uwmt2exvz6d3cavh/r Any ideas?
