Subject: Re: Exporting a lustre FS via NFS

Hi Roger,
Have you tried 1.4.9.Most of the problems are fixed in it but the problem of specifying fsid in /etc/exports still remains.
If you are successful then can you please run Posix compliance Test Suite on top of nfs and lustre separately and share the results with.If you are interested then I can provide you mine.

I'm trying to export a lustre FS via NFS, but I keep getting "permission
denied" when I try to mount them on the client.  If I export the parent
directory, I can access the parent directory, but the lustre FSes are
empty.  This behavior happens on both Linux and Solaris clients.

I've done several searches and learned this was a problem in Lustre 1.2.
But haven't seen any mention of it since then.

Thanks for your help.
