lustre protocol documentation?

Hi,

is there some lustre internals documentation available, for example like 
rfc1813 for NFSv3?


I see there is http://www.lustre.org/documentation.html, but so far I didn't 
find anything about notworking protocols, filesystem abstraction, etc. So 
something that would help me to understand the code path in general.
