[sshfs] Problem with SSHFS and /etc/fstab: msg#00000file-systems.fuse.sshfs
I have been trying to mount a filesystem using sshfs, which works from the command line, but when I try to do the same in /etc/fstab, it tells me that the mount point is invalid, or something along those lines. Looking at the way the line is formatted, the problem is arising from the first entry in fstab, namely sshfs#hostname... I think when /etc/fstab is parsed, it is seeing the # as a comment and not as the correct entry. Why not change this symbol from # to something else like ":" or // or something like that is not a comment symbol? The change is simple from what I could see in sshfs.c somewhere towards the end of the file. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
