I have installed Suse10.1 running pcsc-lite-1.2.9_beta9-17 and a GemPC
Twin card.
When I insert my smartcard, it is recognised by pcscd:
unfortunatly opensuse 10.1 has quite old versions of opensc.
if you want to try a newer package, those are available at
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/sbrabec/gnucash2
Not the place, where I would have searched the newest version:-)
Yes, this version shows the reader and the atr.
Unfortunately, the suse installer removes the openssh to install
opensc-0.11.0-1.i586.rpm:-(
Reinstalling openssh from the suse cd overwrites
opensc-0.11.0-1.i586.rpm with the older cd version.
pkcs11-tool --module=/usr/local/lib/libsiecap11.so shows me the objects
on that card,
But: opensc-explorer-0.9.6 reports no card
no, it should report an unsupported card, I guess.
does
opensc-tool -l
list your reader?
No
does
opensc-tool -a
show the atr of your card?
No
what kind of card is that? how was it initialized?
It is a Cardos card. I did not initialise it myself. Can I find out in
any way how it was initialized?
Norbert
