Card not present?

I have installed Suse10.1 running pcsc-lite-1.2.9_beta9-17 and a GemPC 
Twin card.
When I insert my smartcard, it is recognised by pcscd:

pkcs11-tool --module=/usr/local/lib/libsiecap11.so shows me the objects 
on that card,

But:  opensc-explorer-0.9.6 reports no card

Is this normal behaviour?
