Re: ePass2000 usb: msg#00273encryption.opensc.devel
Hello, There is, indeed, no open-source drivers for ePass tokens AFAIK. I asked them, but they told they knew the situation but they had no plan to release the source :( However, they will soon release a new token, more powerful, the ePass 3000ND : "ND" for No Driver I think, but I didn't have much success in getting technical info on this particular feature. If you can read Chinese, you can have a look on <www.ftsafe.com.cn>; the ePass3000ND has already been released in their home country -- they're doing l10n stuff now. What is sure is that they will use their own COS, FeitianCOS, so if this company is motivated enough, they'll have no excuse to release everything needed to support OpenSC (no NDA or stuff like that, I mean). For the moment, I've followed Andrea's advice and bought a pair of Cryptoflex. Quite cheap and, at last, I'm sure it will work :) -- Damiano __________________________________________________________________ Découvrez le nouveau Yahoo!
