Subject: Re: ePass2000 usb

forget epass, it's not pkcs#15 compatible.
also it doesn't seems part of last generation (1024bit rsa) keys,
and thus is not up to date. the web page writes about 65 us$ for one
which is also expensive. I don't see an open source driver, it doesn't
seem to be ccid compilant (standard for usb tokens / smart card
readers), and the documentation in the developers guide is a user
guide / marketing bla bla, nice for newbies and users. but as developer
I would need a reference manual of the smart card (that is usualy a few
hundert pages of dense technical language).

so it isn't supported and unless we somehow get in depth documentation
(and lots of time) or a running code for it, it will not be supported.

look at the alternative:
schlumberger/axalto cryptoflex 32k in egate token adapter - for 150 us$
you get five cards + token adapter. fast, lateste generation (rsa2048),
well documented and supported in opensc and openct, you could even say:
our reference card (at least I use it all the time) www.scmegastore.com
