This is a terrible idea. Note that if you have say 40mb/sec on regular
lvm partition, you will be reduced to about 10mb/sec on the cow. also,
major fs intensive things are likely to kill your cow. (i have noticed
nessus completely ruining a lvm snapshot). because of this, there is
work being done to create a real cow fs in replacement of lvm snapshots.

No. The hardware time and syncing this to UTC is a function of the
system, not the instances. Why have n ntpd daemons running when one
is sufficent?
I think "independent_wallclock=1" should be the special case, when
someone wants to change the instance's view of UTC.
Personally I've simply removed the ntpdate/ntpd package from my domU
init packages.

Burst Ram for Dom-U
Hi All,
Is it possible to configure burst ram fro domain-U in xen using free
