Hi, At 12:51 AM 10/25/2002, you wrote: >I've said many times that there's an ABEND0C5 in the MFT 21.8 Master >Scheduler that I'd like to go after if I ever get the time. So what's stopping you Phil? Put your kvetching about Hercules on hold for a day or and do something useful like fix that S0C5. >There are - and have been - no "disaster recovery" >or "testing" provisions in IBM's agreements. So companies are in violation of their licenses testing at IBM BRS, Comdisco, SunGuard, or testing at companies with they have reciprocal DR agreements? IANL but I don't think you are entirely right on this point. This is once again a chance to drag this thread out of the ditch and back onto the highway. An interesting question to me at least is under what provisions do most companies legally conduct DR testing often several times a year? How are these provisions applicable or not applicable to Hercules? How are these provisions applicable or not applicable to other emulators such as UMX or Flex? >And yet the project continues unabated, with prima facia pirates >(thieves, by their proper name) receiving automatic assistance on the >main Hercules mailing list. Your posting of late have taken on a particularly vicious tone and one that I think you should recognize is not going to help convince anyone that your are making an sensible argument. I am always inclined to listen to interesting argument and will even play Devil's advocate for fun but this type of speech is not fun. Some of my friends from Texas will understand that "Have a nice day" can mean a great many different things depending on it's tone. Could we at least all be Texas "gentleman"? Name calling or accusing someone of being a thief is not needed. Have a nice day ;-) Best Regards, Sam Knutson mailto:sam-wr9qaVWSXxZAfugRpC6u6w@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx My Home Page http://www.knutson.org CBT Tape http://www.cbttape.org "Life would be so much easier if we could just look at the source code." ------------------------ Yahoo!
