If you're going to be spreading FUD, you should understand the 
term.  FUD means "Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt."  To "spread FUD" 
means to be a fear monger.

You are not IBM, as you so often point out, but have spent a great 
deal of time and energy attempting to spread FUD regarding Hercules, 
this despite the fact that you have no obvious legal interest in the 
issue.  You have been asked to let IBM speak for itself, but you 
persist in championing their cause, as you see it, which is clearly 
not IBM's cause, in fact.

Now, you accuse Jay of spreading a piece of FUD (see below).  But is 
this FUD?  I say it is not.  It is a statement, either true, false, 
or somewhere between.  But it does not inspire fear, uncertainty nor 
doubt.  It is not FUD even if it is 100% false, something neither 
you nor anyone else here can determine for certain without IBM's 
clarification.

Again I ask the question; What are you doing here?  Why are you 
trying to instill fear, uncertainty and doubt in this wonderful open 
source project?  Is it due to some financial concern that you have 
forgotten to mention?  Is it due to the worst case of stubbornness 
that I've ever seen (excepting my younger brother, of course)?  Is 
it because you are trying to save face?  Does it have to do with 
your reputation as a guru?  Is it because you feel IBM needs your 
divine assistance to protect its interests?  What is it?
