That's it, Phil. You have no basis for calling me or Jan that. You should
take a cue from your buddy Peter, who at least does not stoop to the level
of personal insult to make his points.

You're in my personal killfile. I will reply to no further communications
from you, personal or public.

You need not, however, worry: I am not now planning to come to Europe to
commit any sort of physical violence, nor will I do so in the future. (Not
that I was ever planning to do so, but just in case you're still harboring
that silly delusion, you may rest easier.)

While we're slinging epithets, I'll merely point out that you're an
overblown windbag with a hyperinflated sense of your own worth and
influence, widely ignored around the computing world. Even IBM ignores you,
except possibly as entertainment.

Go to hell.
Go straight to hell.
Do not pass go.
Do not collect $200.

FWIW, I am not going to change the policies for this mailing list. It was
created specifically to move this kind of discussion off of hercules-390,
and it can only serve that purpose if it in fact does so. Peter, you are
welcome to participate here. Yes, Phil, you are, too - but don't expect
me to answer.
