Patrick, I don't agree with your characterization of my contributions to
this board, but I also can't say that I know the feelings on this matter
by the other participants.   How about this -- Jay authorizes a Yahoo poll
on this group with the question being simply if my continued presence is
desired on this board.  I will abide by the majority vote of the
membership.
This would not be a vote on whether or not I should be excluded, so no
free speech issues are involved, rather it is my wish not to continue
my membership if the majority feel I've not been contributive.
So Jay, you have my permission to establish such a poll if you wish.
I suggest as the poll question "Has PDW's presence on the Herc Advocacy
list been contributive to the purposes of this list?"

Patrick, if as you suggest that this list is not meant to explore Hercules
in the present day business context then I would expect the membership to
declare me non-contributive and I shall resign, leaving only folks of your
singular pursuasion to continue to practice any form of self-affirmation
that you wish.
