Re: Re: Why are the FUD spreaders spreading FUD?: msg#00004

Subject: Re: Re: Why are the FUD spreaders spreading FUD?
Mr. Ward,
Yes, it was intentionally disrespectful, but only mildly so, you must
admit. For character assault, however, you can't top accusing us of being
thieves, etc., especially when it isn't so. FUD means "Fear, Uncertainty and
Doubt." Making up a nickname has nothing whatsoever to do with FUD, and it
wasn't
even a particularly insulting nickname. I chose it merely for its juvenile
ring.
Actually, I should and hereby do apologize for that, for I do respect
you,
at least when you let your enthusiasm show. Still, why you think you or your
company has anything whatsoever to fear from a hobbyist open source project I
can't imagine. When you're not actively trying to tear Hercules and the small
community which has formed around it apart, I do enjoy your posts and we have
had
some pretty pleasant exchanges in the past.
So, then, please accept my apology for the nickname; I genuinely do
prefer
logic to rhetorical tricks.

Regards,
Bomber
