There seems to be some confusion regarding my correct e-mail address.

1) I could build the MacOSX version, but the resulting binary will run 
only on 10.2 and later. Also, there's no guarantee it'll run on any 
specific processor. Please see

details. If I am to build the production binary, you'll need to supply 
me with the ./configure flags to use.
2) Someone should take a look at the panic that occurs when a guest 
Linux OS does a 'hwclock --systohc' and fix it. I plan to rewrite the 
Carbon GUI handling of Alt/Ctrl/Shift for 2.1pre2, but someone really 
needs to test 15, 16, 24, and 32bpp under both X11 and Carbon before 
any release is made. I'm hoping to tackle the MacOS9 build for 2.1final.
