NB, eth_linux: could not open socket: Operation no permitted: msg#00063emulators.bochs.devel
Hi All, I'm very new to Bochs and Linux and I think this is possible more of a Linux problem but I hope some of you have come across this problem before. I'm running an up to date version of SuSE with the KDE 3.1 and the 2.1 rpm of Bochs I'm running a Windows98 simulation in Bochs and it work great and when I try to turn the network card on with these settings: ne2k: ioaddr=0x280, irq=9, mac=b0:c4:20:00:00:00, ethmod=linux, ethdev=eth0 I get these errors 00000000000i[PLGIN] init_dev of 'ne2k' plugin device by virtual method 00000000000i[NE2K ] port 0x280/32 irq 9 mac b0:c4:20:00:00:00 00000000000p[NE2K ] >>PANIC<< eth_linux: could not open socket: Operation not permitted Hope you guys can help it's really got me stumped All The Best, Sam Hennessy ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
