Re: Newbie question about freezing floppy...: msg#00049emulators.bochs.devel
Thanks, but I am not using FORMAT just a plain DIR A:. When I try the linux image I get floppy0: seek failed so the same problem seems to be present there..... This is also the case with the CVS snapshot from 20031010. Can it be that the disk images are too old? I have downloaded them from the bochs website. Where they say that some .bochrc hacking might be needed. But since bochs does not complain I do not know what is wrong. This is the default .bochrc file: romimage: file=BIOS-bochs-990925a, address=0xf0000 megs: 32 vgaromimage: VGABIOS-elpin-2.20 floppya: 1_44=a.img, status=inserted floppyb: 1_44=b.img, status=inserted #diskc: file=c.img, cyl=121, heads=4, spt=17 diskc: file=c.img, cyl=306, heads=4, spt=17 #diskc: file=c.img, cyl=900, heads=15, spt=17 boot: c log: out.bochs mouse: enabled=0 ips: 15000000 Anyone got any clues? //Fredrik On Sat, 2003-10-11 at 01:23, Daniel Gimpelevich wrote: > If you try to use the FORMAT command, that's a known issue.
