Change in list formatting that affects emacs-wiki: msg#00168emacs.wiki.general
There is a slight discrepancy between the way Muse defines list markup and how emacs-wiki does it. With Muse, lists must have whitespace before the dash. There are several reasons for this. - List items will stand out better. - When you hit M-q to wrap a long sentence with a dash in it, that dash could be moved to the first position of the next line. If that happens, the line will erroneously be interpreted as a list. Some time in the future, I plan to change emacs-wiki so that it follows this convention. At that time, a convenience function will be provided that converts lists from the old style to the new. -- Michael Olson -- FSF Associate Member #652 -- Web: http://www.mwolson.org/ Jabber: mwolson_at_hcoop.net -- IRC: mwolson on freenode.net: #muse, #pulug /~ |\ | | | Interests: animé, Debian GNU/Linux, XHTML, wiki, Lisp |_] | \| |_| Fun quotes: http://www.mwolson.org/plans/QuoteList.html |
