I don't know what you're referring to there...

C-c C-j is TeXniscope's suggested keybinding for doing source ->  
preview search.  However, to get this to work for PDF files you need  
to edit the file txs-search.el in /Applications/TeX/TeXniscope.app/ 
Contents/Resources.  Instructions are on the Emacs wiki:  http://

C-c C-c.  Hitting those keys again immediately thereafter should  
start your previewer if it isn't already running.
