Hi there,
I'd like to know how can I make aquamacs works with gnuserv. Or in
detail, I want to know anyone here make Aquamacs emacs works with
JabRef's (http://jabref.sf.net) new "export to Emacs" function in
recent released JabRef 2.0?

Thesaurus

Is there a way to access a thesaurus from within Aquamacs? John Gage ---------------------------- Info ----------------------------- List Post: <mailto:macosx-emacs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> List Archives: <http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.emacs.macintosh.osx>

Re: Thesaurus

Hmm, yes in a number of ways. I personally use dictionary.el with a dict server. If you download DICTATORO, it allows you to use it even if you're offline. Then I just do C-c s, and search a number of dictionaries on the word at point. Of course, the really cool thing would be to be able to access Tiger's own Dictionary.app, which includes the OAD and the Oxford Thesaurus. John Wiegley's eudc-mode allows you to access the AddresBook.app entries. I wonder if something along those lines would also allow access to Dictionary.app Best, Kamen On 04/02/2006, at 15:09, John Gage wrote: Is there a way to access a thesaurus from within Aquamacs? Aquamacs Color-Theme Customizations

Hi, I recently moved to the Mac platform and was relieved to find that there is a version of emacs available which integrates well with the OS. Kudos to the developers. I have been using emacs with color-theme for sometime on other platforms. I use the same color-theme in all the modes. On the other hand, Aquamacs uses a mode based color theme. I've been able to turn of the mode based color-theme in emacs but I haven't been able to install a color-theme of my choice using .emacs/Preferences.el/Customization.el. I also tried loading a color-theme after startup and saving the options but the theme does not persist. Could somebody tell me how to do this? Or point me to the info? I think it does not work, because gnuserv does not work in Mac OS X, because it's not set-up to Mac OS X's network/socket architecture. Is emacsserver not OK for this job?
